Obituary
HARLEY G. MABE
 Harley G. Mabe, 57, died April 24, 2012. Harley died from injuries he obtained while doing what he loved most, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was born April 20, 1955, in Rochester Ind. Harley was a 33-year member of the Brothers MC. Harley was a lifelong resident of the Carpentersville area. He attended Dundee High School. Harley moved to Las Vegas Nev., in 1999 with his wife of 15 years, Karen Mabe. It was not long after when he started his own company, Hartec Inc. Harley loved his family and friends dearly as they did him. He is survived by his wife, Karen; son, Shannon Harley; brothers, Ron (Terri) Mabe of Carpentersville, John (Bonnie) Mabe of Marengo, Raymond (Lori) of Huntley; and his sister, Patricia (Mabe) Harper of St. Charles. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and great friends. Harley was preceded in death by his sister, Iva (Mabe) Swick on Nov. 2, 2011; his mother and father, Rose and John in 1990; and brothers, Donald and Dennis in their childhood. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 2, at the Odd Fellows Lodge, 50-½ E.
