R.I.P. Brother Marvin Addair

Obituary for Marvin S. Addair
Marvin S. Addair, age 75, of Carpentersville passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, August 3, 2018. Marvin was born in Dalton Fork, West Virginia on September 28, 1942 and was the son of the late Marvin & Esther Addair. On June 6, 1962 he married Sharon A. Cramton. Sharon preceded Marvin in death on December 25, 2009 after 47 years of marriage. Marvin was a resident of Carpentersville for the past 47 years. Prior to retirement, for over 35 years, Marvin was a loyal and valued employee of TRW Cinch Connectors in Elk Grove Village. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and the Masons as well as a member of the Carpentersville & Paris, TN., LOOM (Moose), the Delta Ducks and Ducks Unlimited. Marvin enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a longtime active member of the South Wilmington Sportsman Club in Essex, IL.
Survivors include his daughters; Deborah (Lee) Suwalski and Linda (Joe) Alvarez. Other survivors include his grandchildren; Megan, JoLynn and Michael, and great grandson; Silas.
In addition to his parents and his beloved wife; Sharon, Marvin was preceded in death by his brother; David F. Addair. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM. At Marv’s request he then will be cremated.
